About Me

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Keegan Elizabeth Thomas. My name was finally decided on after I was born. Expect for the Elizabeth part....that was decided immediately. After my Nana, Mary Elizabeth Thimmig. I love my name, it goes with my big personality and I look forward to growing into it. My doctor originally said I would be born May 22, 2010. To my mommy and daddy’s surprise... I came 10 days early - May 12, 2010 at 11:38pm to be exact. Just 22 minutes before my Poppop's Birthday. My initial plan was to be delivered in Grand Rapids, roughly an hour away, at Spectrum Hospital. Because I decided to come into the world so quickly, we made a last minute decision and rushed to our local hospital, which was a good idea since my grandpa, who is a veterinarian, suggested we go to the nearest hospital since my mommy’s contractions were only a few minutes apart. Luckily, they did this so my daddy didn’t have to deliver me on the side of the road. He is a salesperson and not a doctor… It would have been pretty scary! I’m sure he would have figured it out though… he’s pretty good at trivia.

The delivery went as well as can be expected. After my daddy cut that extension cord from me to my mommy... I was free!!! Thank god I didn’t have to survive on wine and tic tacs anymore. Just kidding… it was diet coke and tic tacs. Anyway, the first people I saw besides my grandma were my two drunk uncles. They were weird… they tried to dump Jagermeister in my mommy’s IV? My daddy’s other friend was a nurse at the hospital. He called himself a lactation specialist. I don’t know what that meant?

After the whole ordeal at the hospital, I finally went to my new home in DeWitt with my mommy and daddy and have been here over 9 great months! I finally decided to start sleeping through the night at 6 weeks, since I was keeping my mommy up every night. Poor lady! Since then, I have been doing a lot of cool things. Some of my hobbies are; pooping, taking baths (while munching on my rubber ducky), putting everything I can get my hands on in my mouth, saying daddy (not mommy because I want her to keep trying harder), watching MSU basketball games while my dad is saying a word that starts with “F” a lot, pooping, eating (duh), napping, eating, trying to figure out why everyone keeps kissing me, trying to figure out why mommy keeps pointing this weird mechanical thing at me that flashes a bright light in my eyes, trying on new clothes every day, pooping more, sleeping, fiercely kicking my daddy when he tries to change my diapers, pulling hair out of my kitty Gunther and much, much more.
